Product Safety and Materials

Your safety, comfort, and confidence matter to us.

ColMagic products are designed to support customizable at-home lash styling. Because eyelash clusters, lash adhesives, removers, and application tools are used close to the eyes, they should always be applied, worn, stored, and removed carefully.

Please read the product packaging, ingredient information, application instructions, and warnings before use. The information on this page is general guidance and does not replace the instructions provided with an individual product.

Product Materials

Lash Clusters

ColMagic lash clusters are designed to create natural, wispy, manga-inspired, and customizable lash looks. Our lash clusters are generally made with synthetic lash fibers and are arranged in different lengths, densities, curls, and styles.

The exact materials, band construction, curl, fiber type, and specifications may vary by product. Please refer to the individual product page and product packaging for the most accurate information.

Lash Bond and Seal

Lash bond is a cosmetic adhesive designed to help secure lash clusters near the natural lash line. Lash seal is used after application to reduce tackiness and help finish the lash look.

Formulas and ingredients may vary between products. Always review the complete ingredient list printed on the product packaging before use, especially if you have sensitive skin, known allergies, or previous reactions to cosmetic adhesives.

Lash Remover

Lash remover is designed to help soften and dissolve lash bond so that lash clusters can be removed with less pulling or pressure on the natural lashes.

Do not pull, peel, or force lash clusters off the natural lashes. Use the remover according to the instructions and allow enough time for the bond to loosen before gently removing the clusters.

Tweezers, Applicators, and Brushes

ColMagic kits may include lash tweezers, applicators, spoolie brushes, cleaning brushes, or other application tools. Tool materials and designs vary by kit.

Keep all tools clean and dry. Do not share tools that come into contact with the eye area, and discontinue use if a tool becomes damaged, sharp, rusty, cracked, or difficult to clean.

Patch Testing

We recommend performing a patch test before using any lash adhesive, seal, remover, or cosmetic liquid product for the first time.

Apply a small amount of product to a clean area of skin, following the product instructions. Wait at least 24 hours and check for redness, itching, swelling, burning, irritation, or discomfort.

A patch test cannot guarantee that a reaction will not occur during later use. Stop using the product immediately if irritation or discomfort develops.

Safe Application Guidelines

  • Wash and dry your hands before handling lash clusters or application tools.
  • Make sure the eye area and natural lashes are clean, dry, and free from excess oil.
  • Use only a small amount of lash bond.
  • Apply lash clusters to the natural lashes according to the product instructions.
  • Do not apply adhesive directly to the eyeball, waterline, or inner eyelid.
  • Do not allow the applicator, tweezer, or brush to touch the eyeball.
  • Keep the product away from open wounds, irritated skin, and infected areas.
  • Do not use while driving, walking, or performing any activity that may cause sudden movement.
  • Stop immediately if you experience pain, burning, excessive watering, redness, swelling, or blurred vision.

Safe Removal Guidelines

  • Do not pull lash clusters directly from the natural lashes.
  • Apply the appropriate remover as directed on the product packaging.
  • Allow the remover enough time to soften the adhesive.
  • Gently slide or lift the lash clusters away without forcing them.
  • Remove any remaining adhesive carefully.
  • Clean the eye area gently after removal.
  • Discontinue removal and seek professional assistance if the clusters cannot be removed comfortably.

Eye Contact

ColMagic adhesive, seal, and remover products are intended for external cosmetic use only.

Avoid direct contact with the eyes. If a product enters the eye, rinse immediately and thoroughly with clean, lukewarm water. Remove contact lenses when possible and continue rinsing.

Seek prompt medical attention if pain, redness, swelling, blurred vision, or discomfort continues.

Allergic Reactions and Irritation

Cosmetic adhesives and other eye-area products may cause an allergic reaction or irritation in some individuals, even when the product has previously been used without a problem.

Possible signs of a reaction may include redness, itching, swelling, burning, tenderness, excessive watering, rash, or discomfort.

If you experience a suspected reaction:

  • Stop using the product immediately.
  • Remove the lash clusters carefully when it is safe to do so.
  • Rinse the affected area if appropriate.
  • Do not reapply the product.
  • Seek medical advice when symptoms are severe, persistent, or worsening.

Individual sensitivity does not necessarily mean that a product is defective. ColMagic does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment advice.

Do Not Use the Product If

  • Your eyes or eyelids are currently irritated, swollen, injured, or infected.
  • You have recently undergone eye surgery or an eye-area medical procedure unless approved by a qualified healthcare professional.
  • You know that you are allergic or sensitive to an ingredient listed on the packaging.
  • The product seal is broken before first use.
  • The formula has changed in color, smell, texture, or consistency.
  • The packaging is leaking, damaged, or contaminated.
  • The product has passed its stated expiration or recommended use period.

Contact Lenses

Take extra care when using lash products while wearing contact lenses. Avoid allowing adhesive, remover, or other cosmetic liquids to contact the lenses.

Remove contact lenses immediately if irritation occurs. Consult an eye-care professional if you have questions about using lash products with contact lenses.

Storage and Product Care

  • Keep products tightly closed when not in use.
  • Store products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
  • Keep products away from water and contamination unless the instructions state otherwise.
  • Do not add water or other substances to the formula.
  • Do not transfer the product into an unlabelled container.

  • Follow the expiration date and recommended period after opening shown on the packaging.

Hygiene and Sharing

Products and tools that come into contact with the eyelashes, eyelids, or eye area should not be shared with another person.

Sharing lash tools or eye-area cosmetics may increase the risk of contamination. Clean reusable tools after every use and replace products or tools that cannot be cleaned safely.

Children and Young Users

ColMagic lash products are not toys. Keep lash clusters, adhesives, removers, tweezers, applicators, and packaging away from young children.

Young or inexperienced users should use the products only with appropriate adult guidance. Sharp tools and cosmetic adhesives require careful handling.

If you are pregnant, nursing, undergoing medical treatment, have a known eye condition, have highly sensitive eyes, or are unsure whether a product is suitable for you, consult a qualified healthcare professional before use.
